Drake Alexander Ryan was arrested on multiple charges after execution of a search warrant.
Case #2505-00128: Drake Ryan Alexander was arrested after Lone Star Police and the Cass County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at his residence. Ryan was currently out on bond for AGG ASSLT W/DEADLY WEAPON, Second Degree Felony, POSS DANGEROUS DRUG, Class A Misdemeanor, and CRIMINAL MISCHIEF IMP/INT PUB SERVICE <$30,000, a State Jail Felony. He was arrested on those charges in February 2025.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office requested Lone Star Police check Ryan's residence on Houston Street for a vehicle stolen during a burglary in Cass County. Lone Star Police confirmed the vehicle was at the residence and waited for additional officers to arrive to secure the residence. Once the residence was secured, Lone Star Police obtained a search warrant.
At the onset of the investigation, Lone Star Police observed Ryan and another unknown black male talking in front of the residence, but they retreated inside the residence while the vehicle was checked for confirmation. Ryan fled the residence through the back door before Lone Star Police obtained the search warrant. A manhunt ensued and Ryan was located and arrested at the Mobil Gas Station after searching for him for approximately an hour.
At the time of his arrest, Ryan had a small amount of marijuana on him, and he was charged with Possession of Marijuana <=2oz, a Class B Misdemeanor.
Upon executing the search warrant, Lone Star Police discovered several pipes with methamphetamine residue, packaging materials, a scale, and other products used to cut and distribute methamphetamine.
Ryan was charged with MAN DEL CS PG 1-B >=4G<200G, a First Degree Felony.
Police located identifying documents that do not belong to Ryan, so he was charged with FRAUD USE/POSS OF IDENTIFYING INFO <=5, a State Jail Felony.
Lone Star Police recognized property reported stolen in a burglary that occurred in Lone Star, and that property was seized for evidence.
Cass County Sheriff Deputies were able to identify property stolen during a burglary there and seized that property. Among the stolen items were a handgun, gun safe, two all-terrain vehicles, and the vehicle initially located by Lone Star Police. Cass County Deputies seized all of the property they identified coming from that burglary.
Ryan has multiple pending charges out of Cass County, and further charges are expected from the Lone Star Police Department as the investigation continues.
Assisting the Lone Star Police Department and Cass County Sheriff's Office were the Morris County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
